Great Lakes Packing Company processes over thirty million pounds of fresh cherries a year at its two facilities. We maintain strict quality control over production to ensure we supply the safest ingredients with the highest quality possible.
GLPC facilities are licensed by the State of Michigan as food establishments. We operate our business in compliance with all local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations of all countries we provide products to. We comply with all provisions of the Food Safety and Modernization Act (FSMA) that apply to our enterprise.
GLPC products are produced under FDA-approved HACCP plans and Preventive Controls. Our operational and quality teams are committed to GLPC's comprehensive food safety management system. Employees are trained by HACCP-certified leaders.
All products produced and prepared by Great Lakes Packing Company are certified Kosher and Parve for year-round use, including Passover.
Our two facilities in Hart and Kewadin are certified "with excellence" to the standards of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing Edition 8.0, Level 2.

Our facility in Hart has demonstrated compliance to the standards of the USDA National Organic Program.
